Anthony Gordon

No ones paying what Newcastle would want. Hes contracted until 2030.

Maybe Chelsea.

Isak had 2 years left on his and they got £100mill for him.
I’m not so sure, the contraction in Saudi funds might leave them in not quite so strong a position imo.
(Not that SPIF ever went mad backing them but they were certainly a strong line of credit if needed)

He's still not going cheap though. £80mill minimum based on the market where absolutely pap players have gone for the same or more.

Their 3 star players have all been sounding out that they want to leave. No coincidence with the reported scaling back in Saudi investment.
They could end up in a bit trouble next season.

Think they’ll need to sell someone this summer mate to generate funds.

I’d say we see a fair bit of unrest at Newcastle going forward, selling Isak after the song and dance last year - told all their better players the club isn’t serious about challenging at the very top.

Bruno, Tinali, Livramento and mid career Flash, will all have one eye on the door.

I know a lad who is a Newcastle ST holder (regularly drives up there), and last week he said there's a decent chance they'll sell two of those four.

Gordon was the player he was most comfortable going, and said Guimarães is 29 next season so perhaps best to cash in now.

Personally, as I stated when he was here, Gordon is a decentish player, but he's nowhere near the ability of the hype some made of him, and he believed.

Can’t see anyway back for him now after the “ I’ve outgrown the cloob “ comments tbh.

I've got a mate who's a big Newcastle fan, and he agrees that Gordon moving on wouldn't be the end of the world this summer. His ego is too much even for the barcodes.

However, he reckons Bruno is the most likely to stick around, as he's the only one of their big money signings who has really bought into the club and fanbase.

I reckon Tonali is definitely off myself. He only ended up there in the first place because of the wage/CL and knowing he had a ban imminent.
