I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Gordon with the skippers armband in a couple of years time. Seems to have the ability to lead by example and the confidence to speak out. If he can stay injury free then his game will develop and he will be first name on the team sheet. The likes of Richy and CL may well move on sooner rather than later but we have a much better chance of keeping Gordon. Would be great to have a captain who is also the main man on the pitch.

For me Rodwell always looked like a CB who had been put in midfield. He looked a bit lost. Technically he was very good though. Would've been interesting to see how he'd have done if he'd been played as a CB instead.

He was a CB and highly promising. Playing people in position escapes many of our managers though

Hate to derail Gordon's thread, but I am certain Moyes said he saw Rodwell eventually being a CB.

My biggest fear for him is a bad injury.

This lad is our best player now and he's going to be our best player for years.

Im sure we all said the same about Barkley.

And we have the ultra reliable Townsend. Rondon the volley king..pushing it now I know. There is so much mobility though that DCL is like everybody else, an option. It is very exciting.

He was never making it due to injuries. When he hit the first team he looked better than anybody at that stage other than Rooney. Cant agree with you but there we go.

His pass for the opening goal on Saturday was different class. He's seen the picture really early there. That's the kind of play I love to watch.

It’s an option, but I think he’s made to be a wide man - he can cut it and look effective, I know what you mean

Yeah I agree, foden is class. I love him. I'm simply saying on current form as in the last few games. I've not seen city's last few games but I work with a city fan and he's been slightly disappointed with fodens performances lately.
