Anichebe

Seen Vic out and about. Honestly didnt seem like the bad lad you all say he is. The people he was with didnt seem the wrong sort either.

But I suppose that was the only time I've seen him...

He is a tit, and a moody ballbag.

I can't believe people are crucifying Moyes here.

1st There is no concrete evidence this bust up happened

2nd Moyes has been extradionarily patient with Vic, past the point where fans were getting on the back of both, so if Moyes was annoyed by Vic it was proably with reason.

3rd If this had happened 12 months ago people would be delighted, it's only thanks to Moyes' persistence that we're actually lamenting Vic's absence.

As far as I'm aware, Evertonians have been hating on Vic for about 4 years.

And now some are blaming Moyes for an alleged bust up?

IF YOU'VE ALL BEEN PISSED OFF WITH HIM ONCE A WEEK ON A SATURDAY, IMAGINE HOW MOYES MUST HAVE FELT EVERYDAY FOR LAST X NUMBER OF YEARS?!?!?!

Still stand by my above post though, when I saw him out he seemed like quite a decent quiet lad.

Yes ok a big BUT - Victor was scoring more goals per game then Jelly or Naismith at that time, whatever happened to play him in a morning under 21 game for me sounded like a punishment from the day before - he was injured now we have not got much cover in the striker department - Victor was in scoring form & playing well we looked better with him as a lone striker when Jelly was injured, & the results were better!
If Jelly knew he had a player in strong competition for his place it may iduce him to score - he has been way off form the last few games!

Not over the bust up but to play him in the under 21s the next morning suggest bad management would DM play Jelly in the under 21s????

If Anichebe wasn't involved on the Saturday(for whatever reason) I would expect that he would play the next morning if fit.It wouldn't be a punishment it would be necessary to keep the player match fit.
It seems to me that there is a suggestion that Victor is not injured at the moment but is being kept from the team by the manager as some kind of punishment.
If you want a player out of the club and hope to get a fee for him,you involve him as much as possible to see if you can tempt a buyer.
Rows between players and between managers and players is almost an everyday occurence in football.Unfortunately I think that Anichebe is injured and in truth is a player that we will never be able to rely on to be consistently available to play.

So let me get this right, you're blaming Moyes for playing Anichebe in the U21's, which was presumably a) to give him game time & b ) to give him a kick up the arse after whatever went off that made him scrub him off the first team sheet the day prior, because he got injured in the game?

ffs that's dredging in the extreme.

Personally I think Cheebs is just misunderstood he's a good lad at heart and that time last season or whenever it was when the fans were booing him when he apparently rejected a £25k a week contract was a joke I mean how do the fans know what's going on inside the club they were just believing what they've read in the Echo which is a joke really he's got something to offer us he's scored goals coming off the bench and he trys hard I don't know why he gets such a hard time it's a bit of a joke really I hope he comes back from injury soon so he can prove all you haters wrong he's a blue and we should be encouraging our players not putting them down I mean how do we expect to qualify for the Champions League if we're putting our own players down we're Everton and we don't do that we'll leave that behavior to them lot over the park I don't blame him for not wanting to celebrate goals when the fans were booing him over stuff which probably isn't true it's a joke really call yourselves blues I think you should take a long hard look at yourselves and think about who you really are because you're not Everton fans that's for sure we're a big happy family and Anichebe is my brother and anyone who doesn't agree with that can frankly do one I've been a season ticket holder for 30 years and never have I seen such bad attitude to one of our own it's an absolute joke and it needs to stop or Moyes our gracious savior will walk and never come back and I wouldn't blame him.

BLF.
I think that a lot of the frustration with Anichebe is that he is out injured far more often than he is available to play.I think he is a good player and is surprisingly good at taking a score, but that is no good if he spends most of his time injured.
Because we have a small squad and especially we have very little choice with our strikers then his loss from a small squad is felt even more.

I think a lot of you are ever so slightly deluded.... Vic is far from gash but he is deffo not prem standard and is deffo not the answer to be putting the ball in the net on a regular basis...... it's like Lucas syndrome... the less he plays the better he gets .....

mmm hope ur joking its common knowledge that Anichebe is a red and got in a huff with Moyes for not letting him go to hull pretty well known if you go the game like me at the end of the day he is not good enough for this once great club i was there in 85 so maybe im a bit biased but he is simply not good enough its a joke what people think!!

Quote all you want his goal scoring record mins per game has been top knoch the past two seasons - ok cameo performances due to injury did very well when Jelly was injured = dropped - DM is doing the same with Barkley no chance of coming on as sub - playing out of form players JH coming on was pathetic - Jelly should have been subbed with 15 mins to go on Sat for Barkley or Vellios - favorites have to be stopped being picked end off!

He brought on Heitinga in the last minute as a defensive move to see the game out.

Barkley for Jelavic would have meant Fellaini going right up top which doesn't suit him & he obviously didn't share your view that Jelavic needed hauling off with 15 mins to make way for Vellios.

We've just got a point away off the current Champions who are unbeaten this season & that had won 33 & drawn 3 of it's last 36 home games before Saturday & you're moaning about Moyes subsitutions? lol, no agenda with you mate is there.
