Anichebe over Jelavic?

Moist should ignore this thread and start Vellios against Bolton - that way Anichebe keeps being an impact sub, Jelavic gets the kick up the arse that he needs, Fellaini gets to stay in midfield, and GOT gets to perv.

I can't remember seeing a post more right than this. Mind you it will never happen (aside from perving on GOT)...

Anichebe deserves to start. Starting Vellios would be madness.

I'd still be telling Vic to sort his body language out when something doesnt come off though. Couple of times tonight he just threw his arms up in the air and then stood still for a minute.

Whats body language got to do with anything? Body language doesnt score goals.

Ibrahimovic for example is one sulky git but I would have him playing for us.

As this weekend is an FA Cup match I'd play Anichebe up front, he made a big difference last night and deserves a chance. In the long run Jelavic is clearly the more talented player but its just not happening at the moment plus there is nothing happening on the right with Naismith playing there and Pienaar had a stinker last night, so other than the one chance Jelavic had its not like he is missing chance after chance.

When Coleman went off and Neville went to full back I thought we looked in much better shape. Fellaini was bosses the middle. Maybe Anichebe-Jelavic up front together inst a bad idea. Mirallas & Pienaar on the flanks, all of sudden we might be creating a lot of chances again

Jelavic is s class player just going a barren spell. As I said last night a break will help but I fully expect the goals to flow once Mirallas starts flying down the right side. There are others just off form like pienaar but this can happen in a long season. Teams are being smarter when they play us so variation the key with a fully fit squad we have that.

I'd start Vic and Mirallas upfront against Bolton.

Its difficult with Mirallas because he is our best right winger but if played up top he'd probably be our best striker too.

Big Vic has performed well recently and deserves to start against Bolton.

Last season would of be hung out to dry saying that, this season its a viable option though. You don't just lose the ability to finish its just a bad spell, a rest would do him good though and maybe come of the bench, score a winner and back comes the confidence (hopefully!!)

Fellaini hasn't got the positional sense to play DM, he's better as the one playing slightly more forward in a midfield partnership, so it would require Gibson or Neville to play alongside him. If we played Osman and Fellaini there from the start I think we'd have a couple of problems.

Fellaini has done well in that position behind Jelavic but if he's got no one around him with pace (which until Mirallas came on, he didn't) then the build up play is awfully slow.

The constant playing of Jelavic reminds of Saha's last few months at the club, badly out of form, yet Moyes stuck with him hoping that he would hit form, which he never did, then got his move to Spurs. I just hope Victor can keep fit and hopefully give Jelavic some competition that he needs.

i think when everton are unpredictable they end up doing well, now its bleeding obvious that the ball gets played over to the left side or gets booted up to fellaini.... jelavic is still a good striker but he's not getting the service like he was last year plus he was converting all the 50:50 chances and now he's not... and he's not even converting the gimmes....

it should be anichebe and jelavic up front, pienaar left, mirallas right, osman and fellaini in the middle, neville, jags, distin and baines.
