This isn't the same fanbase as the one who excused and actively supported Bill Kenwright ruining the club, the fans eventually grew tired. It took far too long in my opinion.
The fans under 45/50 don't care for the older generations nostalgia anymore. They have seen nothing but crap supporting this pit of misery and in turn, have a shorter fuse for the bull that comes out of the mouths of those who spearhead things. Further years of utter drivel and they know what they can do with their £900 season tickets and toxic donuts.
Absolutely. Rather people think you are stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt.A quarter of the posts in this thread have come since his disastrous programme notes ahead of the Sunderland game.
People weren’t thinking much about him before that.
What a massive own goal.

If he wants to review the season, do it after the season..
...or the 3rd standard option - Do NothingHe’s essentially backed himself into a corner where he now has to either sack the manager (complete opposite of what his programme notes suggested) or make some very decent signings to placate the fanbase. Even with the transfers though there’s no guarantee the manager actually plays them so what’s the point.
Well I'm one of the older generation and I for one are not happy with how the club has fallen. I remember when we where the best and thought it would go on forever. I actually think it's the younger generation who've never seen us at the top who think qualifying for Europe is success.I actually think the older supporting generations who remember us being the best don't care they had their day in the sun and are happy for Everton to plod along as long as they don't embarrass them by say getting relegated.
Selfish.
Absolutely nothing at all with all that Premier League experience...I mean it can fix all sportsman age related physical problems - but only for a very short time.Grealish, Stones, Soucek...
What could possibly go wrong?
Gestures vaguely in the direction of the David Moyes thread. Not liking the turn this thread is taking - personal digs only reflect poorly on the community here. Any criticism becomes invalid when people start resorting to insults.

I think you are so wrong ,I am way past your upper age limit ,full of nostalgia but so unhappy with the way we are ,if you think about it it is more important the older you are .We simply don't have the time and so are just as impatient as you are .This isn't the same fanbase as the one who excused and actively supported Bill Kenwright ruining the club, the fans eventually grew tired. Yeah from what I've been told TFG & Kinnear have raised this with Moyes. Moyes essentially responded with I'm going to play more experienced players to get into Europe. Then give them some game time in Europa Conference.Yea. I bet the Dibling fiasco has been mentioned by the transfer committee a few times already.
It looks like a power play by Moyes and he's spent a promising young lad's confidence to make it.
I agree totally I'm 52 and when my 22 year old self stood at wembley for the FA cup and charity shield wins in 95 not in my wildest dreams did I think we wouldn't win anything again for at least 32 years.I think you are so wrong ,I am way past your upper age limit ,full of nostalgia but so unhappy with the way we are ,if you think about it it is more important the older you are .We simply don't have the time and so are just as impatient as you are .
