Lovely story...Evening fellow Blues. Andy is my uncle and he leaves behind my aunt, 2 daughters and 2 sons. I dont post often, but felt I had to on this occasion to thank you all for the kind words. Andy was a down to earth, humble fella with a wry Liverpool sense of humour. He never made a fuss. Everton was always his club, although Watford was probably the club at which he is most remembered as their number 1 GK in the 70s. I knew about the European Cup shoot-out but never knew he was in a Toffees team that won 4-0 across the park. Typical of him...never ever made a fuss or felt anybody at Everton owed him anything. He loved Goodison and I am very proud that he was my uncle, but even prouder that my fellow Evertononians acknowledged his contribution. From all of us in his family. Thank you.
Take care blue.
