He’s usually terrible when he starts, but coming on when the game has slowed down he does seem to be ok, I don’t want to see him start though

He’s obviously better when he’s off the bench and he was exactly the right sub yesterday, as he’s one of the very few players we have who can actually hold onto the ball and doesn’t always panic.

I wouldn’t start him v Palace though, they are far too energetic for him in midfield, he’d be overrun as usual.
