Yeah, id be bringing in olssen, Godfrey, siggurdsson and gordon for the next game. Obviously chucking olssen straight in at the derby would be too risky, but pickford cost us another point there and got lucky with var, that should be the last straw, also very lucky not to concede a pen.

Think siggurdsson has been a tad better than gomes this season and we'd probably need a bit more creativity there with richy out. Think gordon has to play as we need someone who will stay out on the wing more and spread the play. James and iwobi/bernard will see us be too narrow imo.

Agree with all of this. I would like to see Gordon and Nkounkou get some Premier League game time.

I’ll say from the off that I don’t think Gylfi would have fared much better in that game but can’t help thinking that had he been on from the start and put in that kind of performance, then his thread would be in meltdown and not quietly drifting into the back pages.
Funnily enough, and you can all pile in on me, I think Delph would have been a better option for that type of game

Great to see that although it wasn't a good game for him on the ball, he really got stuck in.

He divides opinion like no other, i think he gets leeway because when he plays well he's very very good, if he can't find consistency though people will eventually get fed up of giving him chances to find his form. It's a strange one, no denying on his day he's a class player but he's not producing it often enough.

Deffo dreadful yesterday. His main strength is retaining the ball and he simply didn’t do it yesterday. Hopefully he’ll improve against Saints.

Think the occasion got to him was very panicky in possession and I think was partially at fault for both goals - done by Trent for the first and then seemed like he switched off when he saw Sigs warming up in the build up to the second

Disagree think he has quietly excelled. Was great against Spurs first game and has been crucial to us retaining and recycling the ball - allowing us to dominate against the lesser teams.

No one in the side has been average this season... even Jordi... he’s been well below average
