Another one on a huge wage...what a waste of ressources the last few years has been...during most of Moyes era we were skint but at least we were getting value back in most of our signings...now nobody want any of those wasters.

I like Gomes and I don't know if he is carrying something but he has been largely poor since he came back from that terrible injury maybe he needs some time out I hope he still has things to offer but he has been so ponderous and clumsy lately this game summed him up. Sad if he never reaches the level he was at when he first came in.

He was rubbish prior to his injury last season as well mate. Worst performance I’d seen from him was Villa away. He’s had one good game in the league since then and that was Spurs away this season. Not good enough.

Mate I’m genuinely speechless at that. I’ve been hoodwinked by him as much as the rest of us. What the hell were we doing getting him on a perm?

Was it literally just hoping beyond hope that he would be better with a couple more signings?

It’s crazy. Times where pretty crap when we signed him so I think he added a we’ll need dose of handsomeness. I honestly don’t want him in that starting 11 until he figures out how to play football again.

I’m no Davies fan in any way shape or form but maybe he is slightly less likely to let players ghost past him. He’ll probably foul them like but at least it’s something
