My expectations don't matter. What matters is the expectations of Ancelotti and the money men.

I am focused on seeing Ancelotti leading a rebuilt club in a new stadium on the river that will be hosting regular matches with European clubs on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Short term doesn't matter. Keep your eyes on the prize.

Patience. Kudos to Moshiri and Usmanov. Think about what your expectations were when Fat Sam was sweating through his Everton jacket.
 
My expectations are mid/lower mid table this season then push on next season this isn't a quick rebuild and we are still rebuilding. We have large gaps through the spine of the team and massive injuries it's hard to say we will do much beyond mid table this season at best then hopefully we can put some solid foundations in pace for next season. With Gomes and Gbamin back, Kean hopefully adjusted add in a Center back and dominant central midfielder then we may be heading in the right direction again. Carlo needs to address the mentality as much as the intensity, leadership and tactical awareness in this team.

His appointment has already opened a few eyes. The lure will initially be for Ancelotti not for Everton but we are hoping that soon the lure will be for Everton. If Ancelotti has success here then we will be at last a team that many great players will want to play for. No more of this 'why would he want to come here' would be nice to see.
 
Obviously this season is a right off so a couple of signings in January to steady the team, beat the RS in the cup and league

Next season start seeing big improvements and Europa place

After that Everything shiny please Carlo
 
This is exactly the reason he probably won’t last that long. People are expecting wayyy to much from him, and the reality is where crap at the moment. This will be a long road building this club to where we want to get.
