We could go to City and they could rinse us like they did United so lets not hit panic stations and become all negative. City are a team who can lose one week and beat you 5-1 the next.

True, and a very good point.

Unfortunately, isn't that also true of most Premiership sides now?

Me too.

I do like all these optimistic posts about us.

We probably will go through a bad patch at some point this season, but it's nice to see us at the moment.

We've had our iffy spell already, draws and a cup exit, onward and upwards now lads

But there's nothing wrong with losing to City.

.

Yes there is.

We are above them in the league and we have a great record there even since they won the lottery.

There will be a lot "wrong" with losing to them.

We have an unbeaten league record this season and I want to see how far we can stretch it.

If we win we go joint top of the league.....even if only for a few hours.

We have the confidence and momentum that comes from all of this.

We can go to Citeh on Saturday and even a draw will be making a statement of intent, given the way they ripped United a new one.

Last, but by no means least, international breaks are monotonous enough without going into one on the back of a defeat.

Going into this international break, still in the top four, means that we are up there mixing it with the best as the dark nights draw at the end of October.

No, my friend, there is lots "wrong" with losing on Saturday.
