With some friends, hosted visitors to our city this past weekend and treated some not-so-Southern (and some Southern, but still hungry) folks to fried alligator, boiled shrimp, boiled crawfish, seafood gumbo, and similar good eats. Didn't get a chance to offer them boudin, but they got other good bites elsewhere. Makes me hungry just thinking of this again, I can't eat half that stuff.
Had gator once. If someone told me I just ate a chicken nugget I wouldn't have batted an eye.

Any tear spilled by a yank tastes delicious. I would class that as American food.

Well, pretty much like American sports, American food should be banned. This thread is a testament to the polluted crap I (and other proud Americans) delightfully ingest on a daily basis.
