Oh and Kansas City barbecue. Oh my days. Ribs, brisket. Pork shoulder rubbed with dry spice mix and Slow smoked over hickory and I mean slow ( 12 hours not uncommon).
Served with fresh slaw and cornbread. Oh Lordy!

Bunch of wild animals over in America, that gravy is rotten, while I'm here I might as well have a rant, the food is nice but everything is about 10 times too much, you'd be as full as a butchers dog after the appetiser, then you get 3 stone of food for the main and it's all light beer, less food and proper beer is that too much to ask?
I'll be over in August, probably go to Seattle for a few days, spending most of my time in Vancouver, I haven't been to Canada before but I'm assuming it's much the same especially so close to the border. I'll probably cook a bit myself rather than going out for food every evening.You need to pick better places to eat and avoid most chains.
