My sister is coming home for Christmas with her boyfriend. She is a teacher in Baton Rouge. I know she'll bring back loads of rubbish American sweets.
 
Creole cooking > Cajun cooking

It's hard to argue with this, given in part to the complexity of these terms, so I'll defer with a few caveats:
New Orleans food is great, but Acadiana > New Orleans > non-Louisiana cajun and creole cooking
I don't care what color is their skin or how they identify, if they're from this area, they can cook
