When I went to Subway (2 min drive from my house, while good local places were at least 40-45 minute round trip), would proactively order my sandwich and cheese... i.e. Meatball with Pepperjack or Spicy Italian w/ provolone. And always one of those two.
Will be back in Estados Unidos in six days. Not sure what to eat first. First beer in AZ will be a Dale's Pale Ale. That I know.

Unlike physicians and nurses, we're pretty well stocked for pharmacists in the US so a visa could be tough. You may have to go @Bryan's route and try to get an American to marry or adopt you.

Warburton's do some good gluten and wheat free stuff under their Newburn Bakehouse brand. Lemon muffins, Wraps, Bread and rolls all gluten and wheat free. They do crackers too.
Not quite right on either point.
Most of their widely-available cheese is pony. And that cheese in a can stuff actually tastes like it's made of pony. But some of their less mainstream stuff is very good.
As for the meat.... burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, the general southern BBQ type stuff is world-class. But they also make a HUGE deal about turkey and gammon, when in reality most of it is barely fit for feeding to your dog. And their bacon is criminally, disgracefully bad.
Very much a mixed bag, but you will definitely find something you love.
