Anyone with eyes could see he had talant, I think the manager has given him more freedom the past 3/4 games and it's showing. Plays better with Garner next to him than Gueye.
He's been incredible of late.

When he's coming deep, taking the ball and driving with it, he eats up so much ground in a short space of time that it then becomes difficult for the opposition to set themselves for it. It literally takes a couple of players out of the equation every time he does it.
Excellent first half, was quiet for part of the 2nd half and then stepped up again in the last 15/20 minutes with a very disciplined performance tk help see the game out.

I don’t think it is any surprise that now he is on the centre with Garner rather than Gana his performances are in the up. These two could be our central partnership for 5 years (if we don’t sell them !!)
Not only is he happy to receive the ball anywhere but his decision making is has improved massively too, he’s played some killer forward passes this season and rarely picks the wrong time to try something special. He still plays backwards and sideways quite a lot but he used to it all the time and now when he does it’s because there’s nothing on yet.
