I think having Branthwaite behind him with his calm distribution as helped enormously. Also we aren’t turning over the ball as cheaply with Gana not playing.

My man of the match today, Branthwaite and Dom were also exceptional but this guy makes us tick now and absolutely runs things.
His recent increase in forward passing is great to see.

For all those who keep telling me he's over rated and limited, go and have a look at that again on catch up. Gueye is a hindrance to him, he is just not comfortable enough with the ball and he occupies the same space Onana wants to play in. We are a much better team without Gueye.

He's probably relieved, that playing in the Prem is loads easier, when he doesn't have to worry about chasing all the sloppy giveaways Gana keeps forcing on him.

Technically he's still got a way to go, but last few games have been his best spell for us.

He looks so much better without gana in the team. Breaking up play and driving forward with the ball is what he is good at. Technically he is okay but not enough for a more advanced centre mid position.
