That’s the sort of performance I expected from day 1. Nothing to do with PL experience or speed of the game here. He just wanted to make a difference today going forward and defending instead of coasting. Maybe the penny does need to drop with youngsters that you need maximum effort and maximum focus every moment of every game and the rest takes care of itself. Can’t rely on latent ability or physical frame. Powerful and positive today. Excellent.
