Thought this for a while. We get our targets in, with clubs thinking we are skint, then Onana will be sold.
I suppose we will know more if we start hearing rumours of a midfielder coming in.

True, though were not City. I'd like to see him as anchor...Garner to his right slightly further forward (in theory) and Doucoure to the left.

Playing on the counter id be happy to see him as the protection while others bomb on.

The box to box role doesnt sit well with me or make any sense. Why have both managers chosen to play him out of position to 'develop' him?

Interested to learn how he develops this way.

Onana started the last match and Garner didn't so I imagine he will want to put legs into both. Either way we have four decent CM's, two of the the right age to get a lot better
