He must be picking the team based on training stats, and completely ignoring what happens in the actual games.
Only explanation for selecting the likes of Williams, Keane, Bolasie, Schneiderlin.
The squad is crap though. Sam improved us somewhat. Is he the answer? No. But he's probably going to be here for a bit.Stats and kpi's might all look interesting and sexy on paper but the fact is that 2 wins out of the last 10 games isn't good enough no matter what. It's a 20% or a 1/5th win rate if we want to go down the stats avenue which is absolutely abysmal.
Sam will be here next season imo....
Why would he go when he is just starting to build a team....
Why would Everton sack him when Everton will finish at least top ten this season....
He will probably get an extension if we are doing well next season so we should get behind the team & Manager & stop trying to hound him out of the club....
He hasn't signed anyone.
Tosun had been previously scouted as had Walcott.
Allardyce would have assessed the current squad & put forward his suggestions & recommendations of all the ins & outs so far since his deployment at EFC....
Definitely not mate,
these two players would have signed if Koeman, Unsworth or Allardyce were Everton manager.
Surely Allardyce would have the final say in any transfers.....
Plus he would say who could leave etc....
Does not make any sense otherwise...
Not sure what you're talking about mate. Managers always have a load of scouts and others making recommendations, but they still make the final say on recruitment. Does Sam have to have discovered a player for them to be "his" signings? Do you think Koeman personally discovered all the players signed during his tenure? Makes me question what Walsh was up to if so.Yes, he probably would.
The two players signed in January aren't 'Allardyce' signings though.

Most clubs in Europe's top leagues have been using this technology for a few years now, what Sam is doing is being done throughout the PL and Europe.Players have made comments on BBC web page about not being able to hide in training etc....
As SA has stats on their running capacity & distance during matches & training & also their passing & completed passes too....it means there is no argument if a player is not performing as Sa has the details in black & white.
This is good management & the players seem to be responding to the managers ways, they are shown their stats after every match & can see for themselves their performances...Tom Davies has been seeking advice on how to improve his performances recently & scores a goal on his return it all seems very positive to me....
What are your thoughts...
But it isn’t the managers job to identify players, that’s what I’m sayingAlmost this.
I'd highly suspect that Tosun and Walcott had been scouted and we had been made aware of their availability some time ago (especially Tosun).
No chance has BFS come in and identified both of those and spend close to £50m on them.
