Allardyce Explains Klaassen Snub

If I was Klaassen I would feel very insulted by that-dismissed as a trialist who can’t be trusted in a competitive match.

Brainless for any manager to destroy a player like that.
I hope he takes it as I have. Fatty knows now he and the boys are gone soon so I think he's trying to subtly mess with players as he is a vindictive piece of gravy slathered meatloaf.

Unless we give him a go we’ll never know. But I can’t see Fat Sam giving him a chance as he knows he won’t be manager in another 6 games....

This.

It's so transparent isn't it.

We've got nothing to play for but Sam has EVERYTHING to play for in his, and perhaps Farhad's, mind.

That's why we will continue with the safer inclusions rather than Vlasic or Klaassen

I'd like to see the manager be prepared to take the risks and not be afraid to take the blame and responsibility when things go wrong. I haven't seen that from him at all, it's always someone else's fault and him swerving any accountability.

I work in an entry level-ish job and even my gaffer is happy to put her name to anything we do even when it's outside procedure...:coffee: makes me respect her a lot more that she's got our back and also respects us enough to go out and do stuff.

Allardyce Explains Klaassen Snub
davy-1024x461.jpg

Sam Allardyce has sought to offer an explanation as to why Davy Klaassen isn't getting a look-in at Everton.

The £23.6m summer signing from Ajax has been frozen out at Everton with just six minutes of playing time in Everton's victory over Brighton last month his only Premier League exposure since he started against Bournemouth in September.

Allardyce: "We're still playing Tom Davies at 19 and bringing Beni Baningime on at 19 years old, and we are without Gylfi Sigurdsson who can play there.

"Davy Klaassen is still an anomaly to me, as to will he or won't he?

"If I had the opportunity to play him I would, but I haven't because I've got to win. So I don't have the luxury of saying 'go on, give it a go lad!' because if we lose it's me that gets the stick.

"So if I haven't got that luxury. If the opportunity comes along for anybody, be it through injury or suspension, hopefully he can show us what he's got."
TLDR: "I'm a shiznithouse"

We know Sam. We know.

Using that logic then how would you explain Williams and Schneiderlins inclusion in match day squads, would you say that Klassen is a worse player than either of them?

Yes because no one knows his position. He's not physical enough to be a DM, not robust enough to be a CM, and not creative enough to be a number 10. It's why the kids play over him - pace and energy.

At Ajax he ticked over play and had 3/4 attack minded/pacy and creative players around him. Doesn't have that here and doesn't fit our unbalanced and leggy side.

He'd be half decent in a footballing side able to make those clever little one touch passes, where he doesn't have to tackle or get around the pitch. Sadly, that's not us.

He's another in a long line of a diminished Dutch academy.

Also, I don't get the pining over him. He's done little when played, hes probably one of our top earners, refused to leave on loan, probably refused to play in the reserves too.

Where's this love in for Sandro Rameriez who's ripping it up at Sevilla. Oh wait....

Klaasssen should be given at least 30 minutes each game off the bench for the remainder of the season . To spend £25m on a player and then not allow him to try and prove himself is negligent and shows that we don’t mind wasting money . For me he would be starting every game .
