ALLARDYCE - Any positives

We lack shape and a system. He's known for drilling players with such things in mind.

He's probably got a better group of footballers to work with then his previous jobs, and a squad not equipped for hoof ball, so maybe he'll play a more attractive style (really struggling here....)

*just gets the bleach*

I'm not happy, but I'm resigned to it now.

Nothing ever surprises me with Everton.

You just have to learn to roll with the punches, that's just the way it is.

The club will be here long after he's gone, that's what I'm consoling myself with.

He'll save me some cash

How? We will have to fire the back room staff and hire a load of new which will cost us. Sam isnt going to stay past a season as well so we will have to start the process all over again which will incur more cost.

The only positive I can see is that it will give us more time to secure a good quality positive manager for next season.

It's the only reason he got the gig, that and hopefully to be the hatchet man in the dressing room bloodbath that will ensue.

The players may finally respond now there is a permanent manager in place. Harsh on Unsworth who’s done his best but the uncertainty around the manager these last 6 weeks can't have helped. The players have a new manager to impress and a transfer window around the corner. They're playing for their futures. Not really an Allardyce positive but still.
