I know we are all feeling pretty low right now and quite rightly too but are there any positives Sam's arrival?

I'll start with the obvious one, he's never got a team relegated and after Thursday and Sunday's awful showings relegation was a genuine concern.

This unfortunately, is the only positive I can draw. Although it's soon sullied once I see Sammy Lee is joining him.

I think his proud relagation record is in danger.

I can't see any positive in this appointment. I obviously wish him success, but through very gritted teeth.

We've had plenty of threads about the negatives which i have heavily contributed too and agree with. I'm curious whether anyone can convince me otherwise why SA might be a positive appointment.

Alas, even the obvious one isn't true. He got Notts County relegated, going 18 games without a win and blaming the players for it. Don't tell his fans though, he's 'guaranteed' to keep us up.
