I;d have rested James and Allan for sure. The are new to the league and cant be expected to play 2 games a week even this early in the season. It's too frenetic a pace.

Aye typical mate we never play them with a fully fit side.

Praying he just over stretched it and it heals in time - just over 2 weeks until then so you never know fingers crossed.

Being realistic, we aren't winning the league but could win the league cup so it makes perfect sense.

Ancelotti got that team spot on and our class shine through in the end. The injuries are obviously an absolute sickener but they happen on any given day.

We are through to the next round and that's the most important thing. Far too many seasons of getting knocked out of the cups because we didn't go full tilt at it.

We should have been making the change when we went in front again. At least that way we'd preserve Allan. Richarlison limping off after was the warning shot.

Itls all about decision making and rotation.

I think Ancelotti got this one wrong. We took a sledgehammer to crack a walnut there tonight.
