Given it's the week of the derby game I thought it would be interesting to see people's combined all time 11. I would ask that you try and be objective, but I realise there's little chance of that!!
Anyway, mine would be

Stevens Hansen Ratcliffe Baines
Dalglish Ball Souness Sheedy
Dean Rush
Right back was a tricky one, as I don't think either team has had an absolute world class right back. Same with left wing, I could put Heighway in there, or maybe even Kanchelskis but Sheedy is there simply for goals and set plays as much as anything else. I know I might get stick for putting Souness in there, but he had the tackling qualities of Reid, but also offered more in the attacking 3rd and scored more goals.
I'm only 50 so apologies that there are only 2 "oldies" in there in Alan Ball and Dixie Dean. Feel free to put your own cases forward (But not Jimmy Case
). Obviously any visiting reds might think it's surprising that they only get 4 players in there, but this is my honest opinion.
