Yes to stubbs if you want league finishes like the last 2 years. I don't know about you I'm getting fed up of finishing in the bottom half of the table. We need a manager who get us challenging for honours and can attract decent players.

How do you know he will have us finishing bottom half??

Look at Diego simeone, before Madrid he had been relegated with one club and had to resign due to poor results from another club. No one would have said " He will guarantee us success " but they took a chance.

We should do the same.

Hadn't simeone also won the argentine league twice before atletico hired him?

He will have to prove his skil level on an ongoing basis, hes doing alright at Hibs if he restores them, gets the Celtic Job and wins the league a few times he could be an option.

I think he has his sights firmly fixed on the Celtic job next if im honest.

Steve Mclaren could have won that league. He had to resign from River as he was bottom without a win in a dozen games.

It was a big risk by Madrid, but it paid off. Stubbs has done wonders at Hibs and has a 69% win rate.

Controversial to some, but being a fellow Kirkby lad I could support him.

He has took a risk and gone upto Scotland to learn his trade and done a wonderful job. Hibs play some good stuff and now have a trophy to show for it against a financial super power of Rangers.

A true blue who is born local to us and would bleed for us. Compared to the mercenary types of Emery I'd have Stubbs before him.

Potential to be the English Ferguson.
Quite possibly your best one yet!

Simple it's a no from me

Before people dismiss this you have to consider that he's a proven winner now and would also bring Rooney back. Evertonian too.

But obviously he isn't foreign and eccentric enough so he won't curry favour with all your continental football obsessing quilts.
