He scored that excellent finish first game last season against Leicester and j thought he might crack on from there... But he didn't.
Then he scored that awesome goal for Ireland with the skill and finish from outside the box and I thought he might get his confidence back and be great... But he wasn't.
More of a failure than the mercurial occasional brilliance of Bilyaletdinov.

Would have offered a different option from the bench yesterday. Aaron Lennon isn't exactly setting the world on fire..

I do think Aids gets far too much abuse, but no way should he get in the game ahead of Lennon.

I think Aids offers something...he's got that ability to ghost past players when he's right.

He runs about like a man with three legs.....he never stops.....but he never does much.
Like a metronome, the perpetual motion makes him appear to be doing sommat.
And I am not basing that on his time here......I have watched him play at Spurs for years and always held that opinion.

But why are we even discussing who is the best between Aiden and Lennon?
They are both bang average and neither will feature as more than a squad player.

I think they can both show more than bang average...IMO Lennon is the better bang average option.
His energy on both ends won us points last season that I won't forget, and I'm happy we signed him.
But anyway...I think we mostly agree. Del getting 90 minutes fit would be a huge win.
