Aiden McGeady

He was MOTM against Lille in the EL. And I thought he did well round that period.

The thing is that these type of players are completely mood governed. A place and team and manager is either spot on for them or they suffer massive confidence issues. Of course, that's no good for a PL team looking for a bit more in the way of a robust mentality.

It's fair to say his time at Everton has been easily the worst in his career.

All told, he's from a different age really. I liked the idea of him being here because I love those type of players who can flick a switch and do the tricks. But it just hasn't worked out. Sadly for him and us.

Anyone saying he has no talent though has rocks in their head. Big ones.

MOTM?! Was that the game where he was awful and blew a golden chance for us to win the match? He, Lukaku and Eto'o were three on one with the goalkeeper and all he had to do was pass the ball into the box and instead he put it near the corner flag? I was there for that match, McGeady was absolutely dire.

It was good old Aiden who came on against WHU last season and who with Ossie really changed matters.

I think Aiden's goose was partly cooked when RM bought Lennon but there might still be a chance for him. If Miralles
leaves at Xmas, Aiden might get a chance on the left. He was the best player on the park for Ireland against England in the first half playing in that position this summer.

Lots of talent and he can do special things but for whatever reason he just has not establsihed himself.

He's just not very good

Aidan's injury woes and lack of form are a serious blow to the ASS. I can't see how it will recover.
One should never underestimate the ability of @kithnou 's ASS to absorb problematic circumstance. And whilst , on often occasion, it leaves itself wide open to abuse, ASS ,with all its clamouring members, will ultimately prevail.

Having watched alot of him over the years i was dumbfounded when we signed him he is terrible i shudder to think the wages he is on and thats why his Sunderland move did not go through he is trunks and makes me question Martinez's judgement as Stevie Wonder could see that this lad is not up to the mark.

I will drive him to whereever is foolish enough to pay him to play football.
