Don't underestimate yankee keepers. Brad Friedel was 41 last season and was fantastic for Spurs. Tottenham brought Hugo Lloris in to replace him and AVB just couldn't justify dropping Friedel because his form was so good. Ended up splitting time between the two keepers in the end... Lloris featured in league fixtures and Friedel did all the domestic cups and Europa League matches.

Not saying Howard is Friedel (I think Friedel is/was better) but I could still see Howard playing another 3-4 years.

he's on the decline though, if he plays 3/4 more years like he did last season i really hope it's not with us

You have to factor in the system that Ireland play under Trap. The full backs have been inhibited from joining in with the wingers and Trap likes to use work horses in the centre. McGeady is often isolated and double teamed. This limits his end product. Despite this, he always causes problems for the opposing defenders and always makes things happen.

If he had teammates giving him options, overlapping and dragging defenders away, he'd be a nightmare to play against.

Spot on this. As well as that McGeady has become a lot better defensively. Witness his performance against Russia in Moscow in the last Euro qualifiers.
 

he is on his way alright, was talking to a mate who knows him, he got married 2 weeks ago
and wants to come back to the UK to live, Fulham have also contact him but he wants to come
to Everton.
 
If Martinez will buy him, in what I am hoping for that price, you all will be possibly really excited with him really soon. Gibbo 2.0

I think he's an exciting player. Everyone loves to watch a player taking defenders on, it won't always come off but he'd be a good option to have in the squad and would be a massive improvement on Naismith on the right.
