I think he can be part of a deal that brings us van Dijk. McGeady plus £4/5M should do it.

Contracts are nothing to make a fuss about though. The only sticking point would be whether McGeady accepted he should play in a poor league rather than trying his hand elsewhere.

I'd be all for keeping him and Naismith. Players who aren't first team starters but who can provide depth. But if it meant we got a decent CB....

Actually the centre back position will be interesting next season.

Galloway has already said to the press that he is ready for first team footie; and we will still have Alcaraz. Browning looked good at Anfield. Assuming Distin is off there will be 5 to keep happy.

From what I have seen of Lennon in the past, I prefer McGready.

He's an average player. Have no issues with RM picking him up when he did and taking the gamble on him but it was obvious from the start his distinct lack of playing time in favour of Delefoe was more than just adjusting and getting fit. He simply was no where near as good as Gerrard.

Hopefully Celtic will be in for him in the summer. If it's part of van diijk deal then all the better. If not then I'm sure hull can be persuaded to give us 4M for him.

Depending on price I'd hope we make Lennon a perm deal next season. But with Mirallass most likely off, we're gonna need to bring in 2 quality wingers plus Lennon or Atsu whilst also keeping pienaar if he's up to another season.

McGeady actually hasn't been given a decent run in the team yet, I don't get why you are all "hoping Celtic come in with a bid", yet favour Atsu who doesn't seem bothered to play for us. If he was truly injured he shouldn't of played in the ACON.

Last two wins (QPR and Palace), Mirallas and McGeady both played. How the manager can't see the need for playing with two wingers is superseded only in stupidity by those defending the manager for it.
