After Everton, do you follow a second team? If so, who? Why them?

Answered this already but I look out for Wednesdays results, it's a family thing that goes back to the '66 FA Cup final...grandad met a Wednesday supporter there and they hit off and have been mates since so they became a second team but I, personally, couldn't tell you much about them currently although now that Mr. Irvine's there I'll probably keep a closer eye out.

Recently made the decision to follow the Philly Union of MLS to tide me over during the off season.

Neither will ever hold a candle to the blues, though.

I live and die by Everton and no other.

I like the way Barca operate. The RS often seem to think that they're "more than just a club", but this saying really does apply to Barcelona. It was a tour of the Camp Nou about 7-8 years ago that got me interested.

My father is a Villa fan, so I usually have a soft spot for them unless they're getting in Everton's way (see: last season when I hated the ****ers)

Doncaster Rovers. On my first Championship Manager game I took charge of them and tried to get them as high up the leagues as I could. I only managed to get them promoted once, and they sacked me in my 4th season as were in a relegation battle. It's nice to see them actually climbing through the leagues now.

In order:

1) Everton
2) Everton
3) Everton
4) Everton
5) Everton
6) Houston Dynamo
7) USMNT
8) Everton
9) Everton
10) Everton

I don't really pay much attention to any other club, although there's a few I have soft spots for for a variety of reasons, but that few clubs changes a little over time with the one constant being my home-town club of Worcester City - sad to see they're struggling at the moment, although it looks like they may have a new stadium before we do!

Swansea. I don't really follow them but hold a sentimental spot in my heart... the Swans were the team I adopted when first taking on an old copy of Championship Manager 97 about 3 years ago. Anyone else remember the seizure inducing flash of the screen as the run of play updated and then a goal was scored? I find the charm and the complexity level of the old game about right for me. The newer versions are more realistic with better graphic but I find them too complex. Go Swans.

Many posts use the word chose. I have always wondered what that must be like. I never had any say in the matter. I did not even realise there was another team in the city until I was 8 or 9. I no longer live back home and am often asked, because of my accent, why dont I support...well I wont repeat, it but the assumption that I had a choice. :confused3::confused3:
Had I been treated fairly, and given a choice I have to admit I would have chosen EVERTON FC. THE PRIDE OF MERSEYSIDE. THE PEOPLES CLUB. COME ON YOU MIGHTY BLUES!!!!!!
Also keep an eye on the scores of Forfar, Cheltenham Town, 1FC UNION, St. Pauli

No other side for me in the big clubs, born, lived and will die a blue

I do always look out for the small teams. Tranmere, Chester, Wrexham, Southport, Rhyl and for no reason I know of East Stirling north of the border

Everton and "whoever is playing Liverpool."

No allegiance outside of Everton, but I'd be lying if I didn't frequently enjoy watching Arsenal as a neutral. And I frequently root for Americans abroad - so I'll root for dempsey, but not necessarily Fulham, etc.

Loved having Howard and Donovan dressed in blue today...
