Are you likely to be in town for work.
If so, I'd agree with the poster that recommended being on the Merseyrail network.
You have been to Goodison I assume mate ?https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/120370535#/?channel=RES_LET

Being close to Goodison is really not a good thing. (erm no offence to anyone who lives that way of course).https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/120370535#/?channel=RES_LET

Just at the back of the city centre, 5 min walk
Alright ladies and gents
Considering moving to Liverpool and ive had a few conversations with recruiters about my interest in jobs based in the city centre .
I’m currently living in Dublin but want to make the plunge, seeing one bedroom property’s to get me established at between 400 and 550 which would be my budget (I’m not made of money me ?)
Anyone Any advice on nice areas to live? Good companies / employers to work for in Liverpool? These properties I’ve been looking at so far have been in wavertree, Fairfield, rufford road, off Prescot road.
I suppose if I say I’ve put a deposit on a new property so looking to move over there asap really. I’m sure the recruiters were like “are you planning to swim over the Irish Sea to work everyday” scouse humour ha
Any way any help is very appreciated , all have to start somewhere ha
Waterloo is handy for the train. Shops on your doorstep (home and bargain, Iceland and Co Op). Some decent bars/pubs and some rough ones. Close to Crosby beach and the marina for a walk/run/cycle. Also a short walk to watch Marine FC.It depends on what lifestyle you want. If you want local night life instead of going to town all the time you could try Waterloo.
