I said on our podcast the other day that I disagreed with Allardyce that going to play in Germany wouldn’t be good for Lookman - of course it will. Great learning curve. Only an old British footballing dinosaur like him would think going to ply your trade in Germany for one of the best sides would be a bad idea ffs.

Good goal. No real surprise though, he’s an exciting attacking player that runs at players, makes things happen and takes shots at goal.

But he doesn’t always do good defensively so you can’t play him FFS.

The last action for us against them lot he helped change the game and set up the equaliser. Was a real pain in their side and then after that wasn’t seen again!! Utterly bizarre!!

He's a good coach, he is very pragmatic. He knows how to work with what he has, and will change accordingly. And is obviously very willing to work with young players and work well with then. He trusts them and lets them make mistakes and coaches them well.

Before Leipzig he was with Ingolstadt, and did a really good job with a small team with a small budget, but the football wasnt' anywhere near as good as with Leipzig - which is why I say he is pragmatic. Not the sort of coach who would try and coach excting football if he doesnt have the tools at his disposal.

But I don't think he has ever made noises about moving from Leipzig at this time.
