To be fair neither Koeman nor Unsie used him a lot either.

This has annoyed me though. Hope we reset the dials in summer with Lookman, Onyekuru etc. Makings of a decent team if we don't piss them all off.

Seems really strange. I haven't been keeping up with the Bundesliga this season but it seems strange for RB Leipzig (who were in the Champs League this season) to loan someone if they didn't want to keep him afterwards (see Borussia Monchengladbach with Reece Oxford). I'd be gutted to see him go.

Fair play to the lad for taking the step to go abroad and play. Hope he plays well. But more importantly hope he's back for preseason ready to fight for his place.

His pace and trickery is pretty much tailor made for that role.

Leipzig are a good side (much better than us oops, I said it) but they are not blessed with the widest of squads. I believe he could have a good half season with them and return here a better player.

It’s Sams stubbornness to not reward performances and actually play him that’s led to this. Why wouldn’t he want to go to a side that love young talent and actually play decent stuff. I hate this move for Everton but if I’m Lookman I want this loan every day of the week.

Loaning players to sides that would boss us is mind-boggling.

Comical decision and stunning that Sam can’t figure out why he wanted to go. He turned in a performance in the derby and is left out of the squad on the next matchday. The handling of this situation is just another reason Sam needs to go in the summer.
