2017/18 Ademola Lookman

I'll be very upset if he is send out on loan. The only player capable of dribbling in the team.

Beginning to question koeman if this goes ahead.

Koeman would be making a mistake if the rumors are true. He has already proven himself in the championship and gives us an option on the counter. Why let him go when we are in Europe? He has to have a rotation this year.

It seems more like Derby would like him on loan, it's not saying we're about to loan him out.

Derby County are keen to take Everton forward Ademola Lookman on loan.

The 19-year-old has been on the bench during Everton's pre-season preparations and Derby are among a host of clubs monitoring developments.

Manager Gary Rowett wants to add pace to his attack following the sale of Tom Ince to Huddersfield Town.

He has enquired about Preston North End's Callum Robinson and has had two bids rejected for Leicester City forward Tom Lawrence.

Rowett would be keen to take England U20 international Lookman should he be allowed to go on loan.

Lookman joined Everton for £7.5m last season from Charlton and made eight appearances, scoring once on his debut against Manchester City.

Ronald Koeman may yet decide to keep the teenager at Goodison though with Aaron Lennon discussing a loan move to Watford.

Everton are to play their final pre-season friendly on Sunday against Sevilla, who beat Arsenal 2-1 last weekend during the Emirates Cup.

The Goodison Park outfit then open their Premier League campaign against Stoke City on Saturday, August 12.

Sending him out on loan would be ridiculous, they'll be plenty of opportunities this season for him to get games and he'll be a great player to utilise in Europe and the cups. Hope it's just rumours.

I would only consider it if we brought in another winger, but it doesn't appear that we are lobbying for anyone right now.

Not sure on this. His lightning start against City aside he's struggled to impose himself on games and looks a little off the first team currently.

In the right circumstances it's a sensible move but, especially with Dowell out on loan, we look paper thin in terms of wide/agile players.

I imagine this means we'll go with a 3-5-2/5-3-2 and have the wingbacks providing (or trying to) width. Not sure where Lookman fits into that system, so maybe a loan move would be beneficial.

Very disappointed if this was the case. @Eggs had mentioned that our loans may be an indication of future sales (paraphrasing) but if Mola goes out then it would suggest that it isn't as clear cut.

Lookman is surely ready of first team opportunities, particularly in a side short on pace and creativity.

I'm hoping that our loans this year are more finishing school than try before you buy.

He surely has to stay just for depth alone. He's already proved he can do the business in the lower leagues with Charlton, what would be the point in loaning him out to the football league now?
