I do question Dowell's physical ability and determination. On one hand, you can say his chill personality is what makes him so calm and collected. He reminds me of Berbatov in that respect. But, for all his skill on the ball, he seems to fade horribly in some games. I think with the right setup he could succeed, but we sure as hell don't have a good environment for him (yet).

Wolfsburg fans have been asking that all season :p

But still, it's great to see him doing well for himself at Leipzig, getting a few games, scoring a few goals. Like I said when he went there, I was really impressed with him for making the move, too many players stay in their comfort zone, but he didn't. Glad it seems to be working out for him, and Everton should benefit next seaosn.
 


I’ve got a vague idea that the RS have to pay more money for Keita the higher up that RB Leipzig finish, so possibly a double benefit for his goals today. England u21 have the Toulon Tournament at the end of this month so another chance to assess him against his peers. It’ll be interesting to see how much game time he gets and how he’s asked to play, often he’s been out on the left for England and asked to do a tracking back job. I would love to see his goals per minutes played ratio for us and Leipzig this season, it should be quite impressive.

For England hes been used as an attacking central midfielder recently. looked very very good.
 
That fat dinosaur can get out of this club just for sending the lad on loan. Scores 2 in a better league than the PL...meanwhile we can’t beat Southampton.
