Koeman let's face it, doesn't give out praise often. But it's interesting how highly he spoke of lookman after he had just signed and trained with the first team. Stating the obvious, there is a real talent there, the form and confidence, he showed and gained at the World Cup will do him no harm this season. Throw in that he came back earlier to pre-season training, shows he also has the work ethic to succeed. I really like the look (pardon the pun) of this kid. Offers something different, that we don't have.

He's an interesting one. He is so illusive with the ball, but it is somewhat difficult for me to define an actual role for him. Lookman comes across as a super sub and I mean that in the best possible way. I'm not sure he will have a career as a starter, but he can impact the game in a matter of seconds and I like him a lot as a player.

On the highlight clips from his charlton days and England in the summer, he seems to favour playing on the left side and cutting in on his right foot. Unfortunately Sandro and siguardsson favour this side too. If he breaks into the first team as a regular (I don't expect it this season, but we will see him involved more) than the lad will indeed be a special talent, due to the intense competition.

We have plenty of games to play this season so it looks like he, along with other kids, will get their chance. This is a big season for everyone at the club. Everything that has happened recently at our club has only served to give us a chance of some success. I feel, with a couple more signings, we will be in a position to achieve a measure of success. Unfortunately you don't get success just by putting the peices in place, you have to go out and do it.

Our season could be as short as 42 games or as long as something like 75. Lets hope its the latter.

Are drawn/tied Cup matches (EFL and FA) replayed? or has that changed to them being settled on the day (extra time or penalties). I heard the FA was introducing this change to avoid congestion

He, like all our younger talents, will relish having better quality footballers around them from this season.

Amazed by that mate. If he got games next season I think he's an outsider for the England World Cup squad.

I have suspicion we decided to get Ade over Depay in January.
