I think it was a good sub, home debute, young player needs a bit of protection, at that stage it looked like the game could go a bit feisty, the crowd was having a bit of a turn, get the youngster out of the way, dont forget they had just scored and the place was about to turn nasty.
The best thing about that clip is Barry's reaction after he does it, Barry who won titles at Vity with some truly world class players, has to double take at the lad to make sure he's really seen what just happened.
