Yeah there certainly is a player in there. I worry his price tag means some fans no matter the minority of them think he should be neymar instantly. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case as you say, massive adjustment in his life and sometimes tjst doesn't click straight away. I reckon come August at least he will have made some friends and feel more at home, plenty of time to go for him. The minute he scores against the street end next season and sees the reaction he gets will help him as well I reckon
Clearly he needs a Scouse girlfriend....

Scouse girlfriend not necessary for now...

Ademola Lookman is determined to “do more” in his second season at Everton.

The forward joined from Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window and announced his arrival with a debut goal against Manchester City later that month.

Lookman had been on the pitch only a couple of minutes when he put the seal on a 4-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s side - arguably the Blues' best performance of the campaign.

But the Londoner went on to star only seven more times in the second half of the campaign, six of which were from the bench.

“It’s been great but I can do more, I can do better,” Lookman said when asked about his first six months at the Club. “There are things that I can still improve on, which I’m focusing on.

“It was an incredible feeling to score against Manchester City. I can’t really describe it. I need to kick on from that now and move forward.

“It’s good to have moments like that, but I want to have 100 more moments like that in my career. That’s what I’m trying to do.

“It’s a whole different city [Liverpool compared to London] but I think I’m adapting well. I enjoy playing every single day.”

Lookman is one of five Everton players currently representing England at the Under-20s World Cup.

He has started two of the Young Lions’ three matches so far in South Korea and has helped them reach the knockout rounds of the tournament.

The 19-year-old missed Everton’s last two fixtures of the Premier League campaign against Watford and Arsenal after linking up with his international teammates - and he was given words of advice from Ronald Koeman before departing.

“The manager told me that I should go into every game like I would at Everton, to keep focused and keep working hard, and the results will come,” added the teenager, who had scored 12 goals for Charlton prior to joining the Toffees.

“I want to kick on next season and hopefully establish myself in the first team. I’m looking forward to pre-season training.

“You have to set goals for yourself and be confident in your ability, and I am confident in my ability. We’ll see next season, we’ll see the results.”

When the next England u20s game?
Taken from Wikipedia so not sure of how valid this is.

England play Costa Rica in the last 16 round of the U20 world cup, tie being played on Friday. If we win that game we play the winners of Mexico and Senegal in the quarter final. Zambia/Germany/France/Italy await us in the semi final if we get that far.

Coming top of the group has given them an excellent opportunity to progress further in the competition. Argentina missing out on a best 3rd place position is another boost as they are one of the most highly rated teams out there and the squad is full of talent.

Mexico were not exactly impressive in finishing 2nd in their group, but these lads had a couple of head to heads in Mexico last summer in the lead up to the U19 Euros, and lost both of them. Two rare defeats for this group.

Post I made in the youth team thread. Game being played Wed not Fri. Just noticed my error.

Has a ripping shot on him and a certain dribbling flair that few players possess.if he can develop a knack for holding on to the ball and good awareness lad will be a player
