If these reports are true then it would leave a very bitter taste. The club should have given him more minutes last season, unquestionably, but the club have also been very good to him since he was brought in.

He was brought out of league obscurity by us for a very big fee for someone in that league, he was immediately made a part of Everton's first team and although he did spend time with the U23s as well it was his form for both teams that allowed him to become a world Cup winner with England's U20's. The club also allowed him a loan to a club that they absolutely did not want him to join.

Yes, the majority of the blame if he goes would lie with Fat Head Allardyce and some with Koeman too, but he needs to realise that the club has been very good to him in other ways too.

With Everton’s track record of looking after youngsters, I find it hard to believe that the club would virtually show no interest in Lookman during his apparent homesickness.

I think most people would rather we kept the boy.

Dont think theres many that dont rate him at all, he looks a very good prospect and for the prices quoted it would be madness to punt him.

I just think there something not right going on with the whole thing.

What baffles me, is the " home sick " thing ( if true ).

Surely he'd be more homesick in a small city that used to be part of East Germany, up until quite recently ?.
