He’s the best outfield youngster at the club hands down.

Yes, it'll be a very bitter pill to swallow if we lose him, but it won't be the end of the world.

I'd love to keep him but if he doesn't want to be at Everton then let him go. He's hardly the heart of the team that we'll really be hamstrung without. He's a promising kid at this point. We''ve recovered from selling loads of those.

I don't care if he "wants" to go.... Don't sell and play him ! If after the year is over and he still wants out , move him on then ! A year in the first XI might change his mind. ( Not like we have any better options coming in ! )

To sell now and at that price in this market is ridiculous. ( Everton ? )

Couldn't agree more. Who cares if he wants to go? He's just a kid and he has a contract here. We should just be telling him to knuckle down and take his chances. We're under no pressure to sell at all, which is what gives me hope that all the rumours are just nonsense. Especially at the price being quoted.

Gutted if he's going, one of the few exciting players we have. Presume he wants to go I knew loaning him to RB would haunt us, big mistake. So was dropping him after the derby. I presume he's one of the few players we can actually shift for money right now. Very short sighted move if it happens and leaves us very short, we need two new wide/forward players if he goes, he will be playing for England before long, vault me on it.

I think he's the most over rated player in our squad. Has a bit of pace, but nothing extraordinary. Certainly can't deliver a cross to save his life, on the few occasions he does actually beat his man without being dispossessed. Has zero defensive ability or awareness. The main thing I think is wrong with him is his attitude. He looks sullen all the time, doesn't appear to want to be involved. All these rumours will be coming from somewhere, and most likely out of his agent. I just think he is a potentially poisonous influence that we could well do without in our dressing room. If he plays a few games and then gets put on the bench I can see him throwing his toys and demanding a move again. I think his own opinion of his ability is a bit inflated.

He plays off the left, can finish has skill plays very direct, is young is English these are all of the assets he has, and that make him a potentially valuable player now and in the future. As for his attitude Mirallas, Morgan and Williams all have far worse attitudes and are still at the club, he just wanted minutes/run in a team with no left winger yet we carried on with Gylfi out of position and dropped him everytime he made an impact...

15 appearances for Everton. Sure he's promising and pacey but it's not like we're selling Rom version 2.

Most as sub. Not even 5 full games in minutes played. Yes the kid has a lot of talent but we only see flashes of it and not what he does day in day out in traInning. If he does go then I would hope we will have a decent sell on clause or even buy back in case he does realise this potential.

then the way to do it is knuckle down, put the work in and EARN your chance in the team. not whinge and cry off to somewhere else that's easier.
Just look at Niasse.....

And maybe there is a reason he wasn't getting minutes in the first team? maybe because he has zero end product, gets dispossessed constantly, doesn't track back and help out, and just looked too lightweight for the Prem. 3 managers didn't play him after all.
