Same in all walks of life Tim , but lets not go overboard on a "prospect" with no more than a handful of games for us (and some of them he wasnt very good)
Theres not exactly a scramble from other clubs for him now is there.

This might just be the worst post I have seen on this forum. Have you heard of paragraphs, mate? Whilst you're at it, learn the current use of an ellipsis.

No one knows if he ever said he was homesick, there was a twitter post from some random which claimed he was and that’s about it.

Having said that going from London to Liverpool is a huge culture shock when you’re young.

I realise this might sound a bit radical for some here. A bit “left field” if you will....

But as the club has just engaged a highly rated Director of Football & an exciting young coach, erm, shouldn’t we give them a chance?

If they think the price is right for Lookman (or any player), then that’s good enough for me. I’ll judge them on how we’re performing in 3, 6, 12 months time.

As far as I’m concerned, other than that run he made in the FA Cup derby to set up the goal, I can’t say I’ve ever been that impressed. Tiny glimpses of skill, often with no end product. Yes, he’s 20, so deserves a chance, but if his attitude is suspect & they think we can do better, then let’s see what they come up with.

This is Everton. Lookman will exploit a loop hole in his contract that essentially allows him to go for free. Kenwright will whine about a gentleman's agreement that was in place. And Leipzig will offer a friendly v them next year as a way compensation. Which they'll ultimately cancel

Getting a mil and 1/3 for every game he's played for Everton if sold for 20m.
