He’s the one I’d be most gutted if we sold. Wouldn’t be that arsed if we sold DCL, it would be stupid to sell Holgate but more forgivable than Lookman. Wouldn’t want us to lose Davies, but again Lookman is more talented.

It really is depressing as hell if we can’t convince this kid to stay. He’s gonna go on to be absolutely boss you just know it. Honestly £20m is an utter joke in this market too, if we’re letting our most promising youngster go for that fee we are an embarrassment.

It wouldn’t even be as bad if we’d signed a few exciting players then sold him. If he’s sold before we buy a single player we clearly have zero cash to spend.

Leipzig made him a first teamer while chubs allardyce told him to buzz off. Not much chance of coming back from that.

I'll bet RS websites are all sweetness and roses full of praise and thanksgiving for everything they do. I will bet they are calling their new keeper "The Second Coming", or to use the Red Echo favourite "The last piece of the jigsaw". How many times have we read that about the dear RS? On here everything is gloom. Even Pickford is being written about as not as good as people say he is. I guess our sheit history since the 1980s has something to with the permanent pessimism on here and other forums. The Red Echo does not help of course.

I comment on the forum most days and have done for the past 6 years. I’ll comment on things that are relevant to that day. We’re in the middle of the transfer window, I’ll be commenting on that.

I've a feeling young Mola doesn't fancy the Prem. The few times he's started he's got bullied by the opp full back to the point where he was anonymous. Maybe him and his agent think Bundesliga is more suited to his development right now.

I agree in terms of talent. But if he goes and it's still a big if in my opinion, I would question whether he has the right attitude or mentality to have what it takes at this moment in time to succeed in a league like the Premier League.

I personally think he should have been given far more of a chance than he has at Everton, but it does make you think why he was not favoured by not just Koeman and Allardyce but Unsworth too. Unsworth is the one that makes me think that maybe there is more to it. Is it an attitude problem, is he poor in training?

He went to Leipzig who came 6th in the Bundesliga. 6th in that league is not as good an achievement as 6th in the Premier League and they aren't a Bayern or a Dortmund so it isn't really a step up.

We've got a new manager known for favouring attacking talent, who notably brought through Richarlison last season in that position. So if you were Lookman you'd surely want to prove yourself to the new manager and prove the previous 3 Everton managers wrong.
