Ademola Lookman

Ive never understood the concept of one player sulking being able to ruin the morale of an entire team, suggests the entire team are weak minded if one guy sulking a bit disrupts everything.

Im not sure how loaning Bolasie has any impact on Lookman.

Why keep a useless player to make up numbers...

Well tbf it might confirm to many he’s staying.

Richarlison, Walcott, Bernard and Lookman seem the right amount and mix of different types of wide players.

Bolasie going means Lookman is staying. It would be nonsensical at this stage to let him leave. Whilst under past regimes I would've expected it, it won't happen under our current reign of competence.

Leaves us short if he goes, let's hope we don't get our usual spate of injuries
that's my concern at the moment too. If he really does want out I think we should be saying to both him and RBL that we'll do business bit they'll have to wait until January so we get a replacement.

This sort of thing was always going to happen with our window closing before the rest of Europe. Stupid stupid decision by the clubs IMO and hopefully one that gets reversed next summer.

No chance it gets reversed mate, not a single club has lost a player they wanted to keep "yet". I still think its a great idea personally.

Still a week to go Goat. I reckon if we didn't have that differential in windows we'd have sold Lookman and brought in Lozano by now, and the likes of Chelsea wouldn't have spent £70m on a rookie keeper. A lot of clubs will have twitchy bums over the next 5/6 days.

I don't disagree with the window closing before the league starts mate. Think that's a good idea. But only if it's the same for the rest of Europe.

Its a learning process for the clubs.

If we sell Lookman its our choice, we have to choose whether we keep an unmotivated very unhappy player or we retain him just in case we get short.

Its very, very risky, considering Walcotts injury record and the amount of fouls that Rico puts up with, but we do have Bernard, who hopefully is a very able back up, we also have Dowell, who isnt a winger, but you would imagine could do a job on the wing.

I mean yes the window is still open a week and LOADS could happen in that time, but so far the only bad thing to happen is that Everton lose a back up winger, cant see the other 19 clubs caring much about that.

"injured"

Want-away winger Ademola Lookman remains hopeful Everton will agree to sell him to RB Leipzig.

The 20-year-old is not expected in the Blues' squad to face Bournemouth this afternoon, the ECHO understands, after missing training on Friday through injury.

If we get rid of both Bolasie and Lookman we look light in pace and in wide areas. With Bernard being an entirely unknown quantity, it only takes an injury to Tosun, Richarlison or Walcott for Lookman to get in to the team.
