That isn't really true is it ?. Allyrdyce was only at the club a few weeks when the January window closed and I don't think any of us felt that Lookman was worth a regular starting place at that time, given the precarious position we were in. For whatever reason the best results that Sam got were at the very start of him time here and the points from those early games were very welcome and important.

I think I could just about live with this. Send him over on a short term loan and get both Werner and Upamecano for no monetary outlay. Let's be honest they'd be crazy not to do that deal.

Silva may have said that he is our present and our future, but apart from about an hour in the first pre season game against a bunch of locals we haven't seen him on the pitch.... whereas we have already seen Holgate,Davies and DCL playing in the league.
I think he will stay until January and leave then if we can find a replacement. There just seems to be something wrong between the player and Everton FC.
