I think the quotes of him not being for sale and him being our present and future are the best things to go by without resorting to inferential interpretation. Also if you saw him in Germany you'd see a player that had no problem taking back and working hard.

Finally I wouldn't take the opinion's off the managers that didn't use him as much to go by. Brands himself said he wanted him at PSV.

Good point that, can’t say I watched him on his loan so happy if that is the case and would make me want to keep him more so.
Let’s be honest though, it wouldn’t be the first time a manager said they wanted to keep a player and suddenly they were shown the door for the right price... it’s a bit like the board giving a manager the vote of confidence. They might say that but everyone knows really it’s game over!

Definitely just my opinion that it's more than likely what it is at face value.

By yourself and your utterly uninformed points. You have no clue what you're talking about. Have a lie down your brain's about to overheat.

God lord you truly are a thing of beauty.

My "uninformed posts" are based on opinion and years of experience, dealing with young lads. Forums are and were made for such purpose - share and debate opinion.

Ours clearly are opposite ends of the spectrum but I'd still happily buy you a shandy at Goodison next time you go.

This makes quite a change from your earlier assertions and attitude. You're the one who changed the tone of this opinion sharing and debate. That being said I haven't been since 05 because of how expensive it is for me to get there but if I do make it the rounds are on me I'll be in such a mood.

Just sell him and move on, He really isn't important and if he wants to go not sure why anyone cares. It's not like Brands is useless, we can easily replace him, just sell.him make a good profit and draw a line on it.

If he had a VALID reason for wanting to leave, I can't see Silva as being the type of coach to stand in his way. Or even put him in a match day squad. For me, it's clear as day. The boy is sulking.

Sorry if it breaks your heart young man.
You made a point ... and destroyed your own validity with the "crass" classless patronising "young man" ending.

If the lad feels hard done by not getting much game time maybe he should ask himself if there's anything he can do to change that. Sulking won't help.

Also I can understand if Real, Chelsea, City, Bayern and the likes where in for him but RBL? He's throwing a wobbler over RBL.

He clearly likes the club and enjoyed his time in Germany. His agent has a lot of young English clients in Germany (Sancho, Oxford last year) as well.
