If he's not a winger and not a striker then he's not needed. Quit linking us with players in central mid, it's the only position where we already have depth.

Yesterday Adrian Durham said Osman could play for England, Micky Quinn butted in, "maybe in 3 or 4 years time..."

Osman is 30 in May. Micky Quinn has not looked at Everton for so long, he thinks Osman is still 19.

TalkSport is full of crap.

Micky Quinn come on he's a red without a clue! Did you hear him on tuesday after the sh**e beat city he thinks there going to win the league next season the mans a plum!

Ljajic can play on either wing and would be a great signing for most Prem teams. Or Jovetic aswell to be fair, Fiorentina got two very good players from Partizan there to be fair.

His agent is quoted on sky news saying he wants to fight for his place in the fiorentina team and thus isn't thinking about a move to England.

An Agent trying to downplay a move?

Or is it that everyone recognises that the chance of him getting a work permit is one in a million.

Apparently we are still interested.

Everton target Adem Ljajic is set for contract talks with Fiorentina.

The Serbian was originally on the books of Manchester United but left without playing a game.

He has largely impressed since moving to Italy and has scored five goals in 21 Serie A matches this season.

David Moyes has tracked him in the past and with the 21-year-old's contract due to expire next summer, Ljajic could be available on the cheap.

But Fiorentina are ready to put an end to that by holding contract talks with the Serbian international.

Pretty much the entire Fiorentina bench backed him up saying that he didn't say anything to provoke the coach. The coach was sacked the next day also...

Guy seems to have a bad rep for this incident and refusing to sing the serbian national anthem. (the latter he did apparantly as the anthem is based around the serbian orthodox religion which he does not subscribe to).

Yeah but it'll still put Moyes off, when was the last time Moyes signed that had been involved in an 'incident'? Anyway, I don't rate him.

most recently, (discounting attempted siginings of people like m'bia, defour etc) Darron Gibson, Royston Drenthe, Johnny Heitinga, Stephen Pienaar and Stephen Naismith

None of them were punched in the face by a coach... but all were involved in 'incidents' either off or on the pitch
