2025/26 Adam Aznou

Moyes has his flaws but other the Mustafi and Dier what other promising players that came through the academy that Moyes didn't properly nurture? I think ensuring Aznou is ready to feature in the premier league on a regular basis is crucial for his growth.
Dier was an odd one though wasn’t he? Only on loan from Sporting for a season- felt like an extended trial, was never sure if it was we didn’t want to pay the fee for him.

Moyes said he's a very good player but has miles to go with S&C and needs to be built up physically.

That's exactly what we were all saying after Roma and watching underage.

S&C is the easy part, the ability piece more difficult and innate.

He was bought with an awareness around this and time it would take, i dont see the issue.
What's S&C ?

Asking for a friend like

Erm, no neither of them "let him go".

Bayern poached him from Barca.

At Bayern he was signed due to an apparent release clause.

He's a full Moroccan international with half a season in La liga.
Not gonna question your stat digging, you are the master at that.
How he ended up here through whatever clauses in contracts doesn't really matter, he's here now, so we'll just have to see once he's ready..

For balance I feel I should point out that he struggled to get a game at Bayern, and has been injured pretty much since he signed here.

If anyone watched him against Roma you would have seen he was way out of his depth. He looked miles off it.
That's not a criticism, he looked lightweight and unfit.
So I assume once he is up to speed with strength and fitness he will be given his chance.
Don't have him on the bench if he is physically not up English football. Not as if he ia short of proper match day atmosphere experience given his previous clubs.
