Moyes said he's a very good player but has miles to go with S&C and needs to be built up physically.

S&C is the easy part, the ability piece more difficult and innate.

Moyes prefers playing young centre backs at full back as he famously said young centre backs need to play full back first as it's a less risky position to put them in. If he had Branthwaite after he came back from PSV I've no doubt he'd of played him left back first before trusting him at centre half. Moyes clearly has issues with attacking full backs with defensive issues hence why Coleman started off at right midfield and Lescott was preferred to Baines

Just pointing out your Left Back upgrade wasn’t even second choice at Bayern and has been injured since he signed.

I'm not really sure too many LBs would get in for Bayern ahead of Guerreiro or Davies.

Also dont think Aznou has been injured for us bar a knock or something minimal.

Not concerned and i think we'll see more of him in Dec which I expected when he signed.

Absolutely correct but if that's when we're putting him on it'll be about twice a season.

If anyone watched him against Roma you would have seen he was way out of his depth. He looked miles off it.
That's not a criticism, he looked lightweight and unfit.
So I assume once he is up to speed with strength and fitness he will be given his chance.

I can remember posting during that Roma game that there wasnt a hope in hell i'd throw him in at elland road. A bit like Barry. I thought the comments were ridiculous. They both looked like they needed time. Aznou far more.
Its a wait and see.
