Played the most minutes of any Everton player this season including missing the Leicester game. He's just knackered.

Wasn't his best game but his was the moment I knew we would win as there was a 50/50 in midfield and he wanted it and Jones bottled out and let him win it. Was marvellous and I knew then we had them as they had no fight.

He didn't do himself justice tonight and he knew that himself from his reactions. Also worth noting that he still put a shift in. Too many times at that place our players have downed tools and gone missing. He didn't and it helped us big time.
